  • A unique opportunity to be the 21st employee of the Community Benefit Society, Cȃr-Y-Môr as it moves into its new Sied y Môr facility near St David’s, over the next 6 months.

    We are looking for an efficient hands on operator who leads by example. Someone with a passion for and experience of amazing Welsh Seafood. 

    The role will report to our experienced Kitchen Lead and be responsible for managing the production team with shellfish, fish and seaweed production. The right person will be comfortable with scheduling, processing, cooking and maintaining high standards of product quality, food hygiene and record keeping. This key role will also cover the Kitchen Lead when he is unavailable.

As a Weekend General Partner at Câr-y-Môr, you will be a vital part of Wales' first regenerative seaweed and shellfish farm. Your work will directly support sustainable food production, environmental stewardship, and community well-being.

    You will play a hands-on role in maintaining the welfare of our live shellfish stocks, supporting our farm, kitchen, and retail operations, and building positive relationships with local fishermen, wholesale customers and partners. You'll help us ensure that high standards of quality, care, and customer service are consistently delivered.

    Weekend work (Saturday and Sunday) is essential for this position, making it a perfect opportunity for those seeking stable weekend employment, whether part-time (minimum 16 hours) or up to full-time (up to 40 hours). Additional weekday hours can be offered depending on business needs and your availability.

    A full UK driving licence is required, and candidates must be 21 or over for insurance purposes. If you’re enthusiastic, hardworking, and ready to get involved, we would love to hear from you.
